FAQ's

I'm pregnant — can I still practice? Absolutely. Jess has experience teaching pre-natal yoga and will adapt your practice to suit wherever you are in your journey. Mamas are very welcome at State of Self.

I have an injury — is yoga still for me? Yes. One of the greatest advantages of a small class environment is that Jess gets to know you and your body, and can modify your practice so you can keep showing up and moving mindfully — without aggravating what needs to heal.

I've never done yoga before — will I keep up? Every single class is beginner friendly, and no one gets left behind. You will be guided you through every pose and every breath. You'll feel right at home before you know it.

Do you provide yoga mats? While we have mats available, we recommend bringing your own flying carpet.

How do I find you? Classes are held in The Studio, located in The Commodore's residential gym. We recommend booking in advance to secure your spot. Walk-ins are always welcome too.

Do you offer concession or student rates? We believe yoga should be accessible to everyone. Concession and student rates are available on class packs — just reach out via the contact form below and we'll take care of you.

Something else on your mind? No question is too big or too small. Fill out the contact form below and we will happily chat through any concerns and find a way to make yoga work for you.
